Livestream | Megans Coding Corner — Gatsby Tutorial, Part 1: Focus on Creating & Deploying
Join Gatsby Senior Software Engineer Megan Sullivan and Generosa Litton, Gatsby Sr. Solutions Engineer, for the first session of an "Intro to Gatsby" workshop series. In the coming weeks, Megan will guide you through building your site from scratch, and you’ll learn core Gatsby concepts like plugins, GraphQL, and creating pages programmatically. She'll do this live on the Gatsby Twitch channel and we'll continue to share the videos here on the Gatsby YouTube channel.
In this first session, Megan walks Generosa through Part 1 of the new Gatsby Tutorial. (They'll assume you've already completed the Gatsby Tutorial Part 0: "Set Up Your Development Environment" so be sure to do that before you start this video.) Together, they go through the process of creating a new site with the Gatsby new command, pushing it to GitHub, and deploying it to the web with Gatsby Cloud. By the end of the hour, you should have a brand new site up and running online that you'll be able to share with others.
