Making a *glamorous* Winter Coat || sew with me
I sewed a swing back jacket using the Butterick 5703 pattern from 1951 and it was such a joy! It was a really quick and easy sewing project to put together, and using the 1947 Singer Featherweight made it an even better experience!
This style of overcoat would be a great first coat project for beginners who want to sew their own outerwear! But I would suggest, for a beginner, using lighter weight fabric than I did - it'll save your arms from aching and be more simple to put together!
