Thermos lunch containers put to the test: Hot food on the go | 2024 | Kassensturz | SRF
A warm meal on the go – thermal containers make it possible. "Kassensturz" tested eight products. The test revealed differences in insulation, and one product was no longer leakproof after being dropped. To keep food warm or hot in the thermal container for as long as possible, three points should be observed: 1. Preheat the container with boiling water. 2. Fill with the food while it is still as hot as possible. 3. Fill to the recommended fill line. The less air in the container, the less the food will cool down.
