Father Samniang Khambai, 60, from Laos, is known as the unique fish expert at Khone Phapheng Waterfall. Most of the fish in Khone Phapheng Waterfall are scaleless, and the fish inhabiting the waterfall are quite powerful due to the constant rapid currents. This is why Father Samniang's difficult fishing experience is because fish are scarce elsewhere.
Father Samniang's family consists of seven children, all working in Thailand. Father Samniang hasn't seen his children in over five or six years since the COVID-19 outbreak, remaining in touch only by phone and social media.
Today, Father Samniang will take you on a tour of the fishing life at Khone Phapheng Waterfall. Amidst the rapid currents, Father Samniang uses only a single rope to hold onto, crossing the rocks to the other side, and skillfully casts a net. This requires courage and considerable experience in fishing in rapid waters. Father Samniang also uses a trap, which he uses to catch one catfish, and uses a handmade fishing rod. He also caught another keel. And Father Samniang has turned the fish he caught into a delicious dish called "Mekong Fish Jaew Hon." Just how delicious and satisfying will it be? Stay tuned!

Johnny, or Jon, is a 24-year-old from Laos. He works as a tour guide, leading customers on adventure activities like ziplining. Jon's life isn't easy. He only completed grade 1, having to work to support his eight younger siblings' education. He earns around 4,000-5,000 baht per month as a guide, mostly giving to his younger siblings. He doesn't spend a lot of money, living off the simple, natural foods. Although Jon sometimes feels discouraged, he earns enough money to buy things for himself, but he still has time to give to his younger siblings and support his family.
Today, Jon will show you the adrenaline rush of his ziplining career. He'll start by ziplining across Tad Fane Waterfall, the highest waterfall in Laos and a World Heritage Site. The scenery is stunning. At 257 meters high, Jon also enjoyed a coffee break in mid-air, capturing stunning photos of Tad Fane Waterfall, which made the team scream with delight. After the zipline, Jon also demonstrated his foraging lifestyle at Tad Fane Waterfall. He climbed down the cliff to Wang Pla, taking over an hour, navigating through the jungle with no fear.
