Talk Title- Easy Cleaning with the Janitor Package
Talk Description- Simplify your data cleaning with the janitor package. It’s loaded with useful functions that, when combined with tidyverse packages like dplyr, can make your data cleaning much faster. We will reviews the functions, demonstrate how to use them, and clean some real-world data start-to-finish.
Bio- Dorota is a data scientist (and data enthusiast) with an extensive background in cleaning/wrangling, analysis, and visualization in the higher education space. Dorota has a Master’s in Applied Statistics, proficiency in R, SAS, and SQL, and experience teaching programming and statistical concepts to non-technical audiences. In her down time, Dorota loves to go to the movies and play with her Boston Terriers.
