Adding Cinematic Black Bars in 60 Seconds in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018

For this tutorial, all instructions are based on a timeline format of 1920x1080 with cinemascope bars to give a 2.35:1 aspect ratio. So basically adding black bars on the top and bottom of the screen to give the widescreen effect. The easiest way to do this is to create a new colour matte that is 1920 x 132 (black) then drag it on your timeline (you will need 2 of these). Click on the colour matte,
then the effects tab, motion and change one of the heights of the colour matte from 540 to 66 and the other from 540 to 1014. You should be all formatted now!
