Lena Mackintosh (Leonid Fedorovich Bilunov) is a crime boss and businessman.

Childhood

Leonid Bilunov was born in the small town of Bila Tserkva (Kiev Oblast) on May 5, 1949. Lenya and his younger brother, Vitya, were raised by their mother, Olga Petrovna, a simple bus conductor. Their father died in the camps. Lenya's childhood was cold and hungry – after the war, the town was poor, and Olga Petrovna barely made ends meet to feed her boys. However, in those terrible times, almost everyone lived like that...

Bilunov has aristocratic blood in his veins. His grandfather was an officer in the Tsarist army. After the revolution, he categorically refused to join the Reds and chose instead to become a simple miller. Leonid's grandfather's death was tragic – he was denounced for dissatisfaction with the regime (though in reality, he was simply discussing the rationale for building a bridge across the river) and executed.

As a teenager, Leonid was sent to a special boarding school in Lviv. Olga Petrovna, who was finding it increasingly difficult to feed two growing boys, inquired at the education department if there was a school that would allow her son to be home only on weekends. She was recommended this boarding school. The school, she was assured, trained good athletes (essentially, state security officers).

Crime

Leonid first ended up in prison at the age of 15. He was arrested for robbing a train car full of men's coats. Young Lenya decided to try on a stylish raincoat, for which his accomplices immediately gave him the nickname.

Lenya "MacIntosh" committed his first murder in prison. His victim was a cellmate nicknamed "Bes." Bes cruelly terrorized and humiliated the minors in his cell. At one point, Lenya lost his composure and attacked his attacker with a pair of tongs from a smelting furnace.

According to official information, Leonid Bilunov has six previous convictions for various crimes (armed robbery, hooliganism, fraud, rape, and robbery). Unofficial sources, however, believe that Makintosh was involved in organizing approximately two dozen murders. Leonid spent a total of 15 years in prison in not-so-remote locations.

During the reign of the first president of the Russian Federation, Leonid Bilunov provided protection for Stolichny Bank. He was the leader of an organized crime group in Lyubertsy. There are also reports that Makintosh managed the "thieves' common fund" for Russian organized crime groups and acted as an intermediary in Russian arms deals.

In the 1990s, Leonid Bilunov left Russia. He first lived in Cyprus, then moved to Hungary, and a little later settled in France. And there he began a completely different life...

On the French Side

Far from his home, Mackintosh took up serious banking, rumored to be consulting. He also found his calling in literature. In 2007, Leonid Bilunov's autobiography, "Three Lives," was released.

The media has dubbed him the godfather of the Russian mafia in Europe. This despite Bilunov's rather open lifestyle and frequent interviews with various publications. Moreover, Leonid Fedorovich even agreed to a documentary about himself.

Family

Leonid Bilunov's wife is named Galina. The couple has two children: a girl, Elizaveta, and a boy, Matvey. According to those close to the family, Leonid is a loving and caring father.
