Second album kickstarter
Hello crew, a little announcement for you. We have had so much fun over the past 5 years of JollyRoger. We have travelled hundreds of miles, played some of our dream festivals and gigs and supported some of our favourite bands. We have met so many amazing people on this journey too and are so grateful for each and every person that has supported us along the way.
Being in a DIY band and building this from scratch with no experience in the music industry has been quite the challenge, but it is what we all live for. Unfortunately, yet again, we have reached a point of financial difficulty which is making it really hard for us to carry on with getting our music out there and continue with touring. We don't have any financial backing, savings or sponsors at the moment and we are all living gig to gig to continue with the band, which is getting increasing more challenging, physically and mentally.
We have so many plans for the future and so many goals and dreams that we would still love to achieve. We are excited about the new songs we have in the pipeline for our next album and we have been collaborating with some amazing people on these too. Unfortunately, without your help, we are struggling to find a way to finish this album off and get it out there for you.
We are so appreciative of all the times you have all helped us out in the past, you have made it possible for us to get this far (which is more than we ever could have imagined). It is so validating when you do, because let's be honest, we are kind of ridiculous 😅 But we hope our music brings joy and spreads happiness and brings people together. We believe in the power of live music.
So crew, with extreme gratitude, if you are able to, we hope that once more we can come together to help us continue with our journey by helping us reach our second album kickstarter goal. Every pledge is one step closer to this (even if it is £1).
