CMNS 50th Alumni Celebration: Shadrach Kabango Presentation
Shad (Shadrach Kabango) is a Rwandan-Canadian recording artist. He has released 7 full-length albums, earning a Juno Award for Rap Recording Of The Year in 2011. Five of his albums have been shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize for the best Canadian album of the year--the most shortlist nominations of any artist in the prize’s history. Outside of recording and performing his own music, Shad has hosted the CBC Radio program Q and hosts the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning Netflix docu-series Hip-Hop Evolution.
