Also, having star fragment trees in your island is 100% safe. It will NOT corrupt your game or get you banned for having them. The only risk of ban is if your the hacker yourself. Having copies of these trees and gifting it to other friends is completely safe. Though to those who probably placed a tree in the wrong spot of the island and somehow the item is stuck in their river, just request island cleanup services. It will remove any glitch item on your island.
Please don't ask in the comments how to do any form of hacking. I'm sure there are other people out there on the internet who would gladly show you how to do so.
