In this gripping true crime story, we unravel the harrowing saga of Ariel Castro and his victims—Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry, and Gina DeJesus. These brave women endured years of unimaginable horror in Castro’s Cleveland home after being abducted between 2002 and 2004. This video explores the abductions, captivity, escape, and eventual justice served in this chilling case.
Michelle Knight disappeared on August 23, 2002, after leaving her cousin’s house. At the time, she was 21 and battling for custody of her son. Tragically, her disappearance was initially dismissed as a runaway case, and she was removed from missing persons databases just 15 months later.
Amanda Berry was abducted on April 21, 2003, the day before her 17th birthday. Her case gained national attention, appearing on America’s Most Wanted, but false claims about her fate devastated her family. Amanda later gave birth to Castro’s daughter, Jocelyn Berry, while in captivity.
Gina DeJesus, only 14 years old, vanished on April 2, 2004, while walking home from school. Her disappearance shocked the local community, as Castro, a trusted figure, had offered her a ride.
The women were held captive for over a decade, enduring psychological and physical abuse. Despite Castro’s attempts to justify his heinous actions by blaming addiction, the evidence and victim testimonies left no doubt about his guilt.
Watch as we delve into Castro’s disturbing confessions, FBI interrogation tapes, and courtroom statements, piecing together the full timeline of events.
