Westworld Tribute - Piano Cover
This is a tribute to the character of Dolores Abernathy from “Westworld”. Her character and her journey resonate so deeply with my experience of this world.
There is a great deal of pain in her; a certain deep rooted resentment aimed at her creators. Why? Because she and her kind live with the story they’ve been given. They've never experienced free will.
With that anger as her drive, she moves forwards in order to take away from humanity what has been taken away from her; choice. Her character is pushed through the dirt, through some of the most horrific experiences one could face. But in the end, out of hatred fuming inside of her she chooses to remember humanity's moments of kindness:
"They created us and they knew enough of beauty to teach it to us"
