Logo of the media company Vivendi Entertainment. The company was formed in 2006 to provide sales, marketing, and distribution services to various studios. It was also a division of Universal Music Group Distribution. In 2012 Vivendi acquired by Gaiam and the next year Cinedigm purchased Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment which merged into Newvideo. VE is based in Universal City, California.
