How to crop to specific size in Photoshop
In this video I will show you how to crop in Photoshop to a specific size, because there are many reasons we want an image which have specific dimensions, follow the tutorial and following steps to achieve the desired cropping result:
STEP 1
Choose the crop tool from the toolbar, or press the C key.
STEP 2
In the tool options bar at the top, change the option to W x H (Width, Height), or use the drop down menu ‘size & resolution’ .
STEP 3
Now type in the desired dimension, now the aspect ratio of the crop area is locked, no matter how we decrease or increase the crop area but the aspect ratio is locked as we defined, alternatively we can add resolution also, for example if we are using the image for web graphics purpose then we can set resolution to 72 px/in
STEP 4
Press the enter key to apply the crop, and now our image is modified and ready to use.
