All about Adil Aouchiche - Why Sunderland signed him
Adil Aouchiche was one of Paris Saint Germain's prize youth talents, but the disbanding of their U23 side in 2019/20 meant Aouchiche did not believe he would get first team football and so declined a long contract from the French giants.
Instead he chose to seek first team football minutes and joined League strugglers St Etienne and as an 18 year old helped them to 11th in the League. Long term though, the young Adil could not save them from the drop and as they were relegated, he moved to Lorient on a four year deal in 2022.
Recently valued at £10 million, Sunderland stepped in to sign him after only one year of his contract at Lorient, no one know the price, but we do know Adil wants to play, wants to succeed and has bags of talent. Watch this to find out more about him.
