Competition on Bass Clarinet / Clarinet is something inherent to High School Band. A lot of the time, I will try to get first chair at my local Honor Bands and end up forgetting about what really matters in music. This video takes a position on the importance of caring about a love for music, and less about the never-ending race to retain first chair.
