Extracting Start and End of Week Dates in Excel or Power BI
By watching this video, you will learn how to extract the start of the week and the end of the week dates from a date in Excel (or Power BI). The video contains two solutions. The first solution, using the Excel formula, and the second using Power Query. But most value can be gained from the video by going beyond the solution and learning the theory behind it. This will give you a deeper understanding of the two solutions and allow you to use the formulas in different contexts.
This tutorial was made using Excel 365 but is applicable to older versions of Excel all the way back to Excel 2010. The Excel formula solution will also work in pre-2010 versions of Excel.
