Avoid These RV Mistakes!!!
We’ve made some of these RV mistakes for you so you don’t have to! 😅 Trust us, the last one is humiliating and we want nothing more than to spare you from making it! 😳
Some additional info for 1 - turning the 💦water off when you leave, if you’re using your water pump, turn it off before you leave. If you’re hooked up to city water, shut the water off at the spigot.
Okay, here’s what happened for the last one. 🫣 We had stayed at a full hookup campground the day before and had emptied the tanks as we were packing up. Somehow the black tank never got closed (it ALWAYS has before, this was a first after years on the road), but normally that would be fine because we’d be heading to another full hookup campground! Welllll, we were keeping things flexible and didn’t have reservations and ended up at a water/electric site for the next few nights. When it was time to head to the dump station on our way out, Matt took the cap off the black tank and yeah…it was the worst thing that has ever happened to us as RVers. 💩So that made it onto our teardown checklist very quickly, make sure all tanks are closed before departure.
