What is this video about?
In this video, Sgt.John Redstone tells how the DUI case he wrote was thrown out because of a typo. He has learned a lot since his early days on the police force when he was confronted with his own insecurities about his literacy skills. After the initial shock of seeing the mounds of police report writing he had to do, he leaned into the job he loves, got the education he needed, and is now mentoring his officers in the intricacies of writing police reports, because he knows sometimes these reports can make or break a case.
