Note:
Termux in required
Android version should be at least 5.1
Device architecture supported: ARMv7, ARM64, x64
Requirements:
1. Download Termux
2. Download Andronix
3. Download bVNC Secure Viewer
Manjaro Installation Guide:
1. Install and open the Termux app. Run the following commands:
pkg update
pkg upgrade
2. Open the Andronix App and click on the Manjaro card for to install on your phone
3. Click on the Install button
The first three options will install Manjaro with the mentioned Desktop Environment. The last Non-DE variant installs Manjaro without any Desktop Environment and is recommended for using the distro only with a Command Line Interface
4. On the Install page click to choose XFCE variant
AndroNix Dev recommend to choose XFCE variant as it is the most stable, smooth, advanced and customizable Desktop Environment present at the moment
5. Click on Termux button, paste the command in Termux and hit enter
6. When the process is completed restart Termux and type:
ls
7. Now run the command:
./start-manjaro.sh
Now if you see root@localhost in Termux then you have successfully started Manjaro
8. Run the command:
vncserver-start
9. Now when it shows this screen: Just type the password which you want to set. Retype the same password when it says Verify.
Type n when it asks “Would you like to enter a view-only password (y/n)”
NOTE: When you type the password the password will not be visible to you
10. Now open bVNC Secure VNC Viewer. Select Type Connection: UltraVNC
11. Click on + sign and type server: localhost, port:1. Then give any name and write your password
12. Click Connect for use installed Manjaro
And there you go. You have installed Manjaro on your Android device without rooting your device.
How to stop Manjaro:
1. Exit out of bVNC Secure VNC Viewer app
2. Open termux and write vncserver-stop and type exit to exit Manjaro ssh
How to uninstall Manjaro:
1. Open Andronix app, select the Manjaro distro and click on Uninstall
2. You'll an uninstall button beside the Install button
3. Click on Termux button, paste the command in Termux and hit enter
