Trying to reach a stable orbit next, but first I have to do a few other missions while waiting for my proper chance at orbiting Kerbin. Fun is had and some (unplanned) explosions too.
I'm hitting the part count and weight limit hard by now. That means I have to make sacrifices in order to reach my goals. The first things to go are of course aviation parts due to the large part count involved even in a simple rocket... and that makes things really interesting if you ask me. You will never need aviation parts in space though, so who cares if they're not there for the brief ascent stage. How hard can it be?
