You’ve saved a million dollars, so it’s time to retire, right?

Unfortunately, deciding when to retire is not as easy as hitting a certain amount of money saved or turning 65. It’s often more nuanced than that. Sure, you might be financially able to retire when you turn 65. But does it feel like it’s the right time? Is it the right decision for you

Many financial advisors may cover this question—maybe the biggest single decision involving your retirement that you’ll make—in terms of dollars and cents. But I want to analyze it by zooming out and thinking about the question differently. Instead of just money, let’s analyze your retirement based on these four factors:
◾ Mind
◾ Body
◾ Spirit
◾ Money

With each of these four areas, I break down the basics of why it might be a factor for you and some examples of what it may look like in your life.
