This is a video of performer Sunny White playing a 1917 C. F. Martin & Co. 1350 Koa guitar.
This was the first guitar that the Martin company sold exclusively with steel strings and it was their first steel string guitar that was not a custom order. This was also Martin's first ever koa wood guitar. They only made 17 of them that first year of making them. This guitar is the last one known to survive from that first year of production. This guitar was previously owned by James Milne, the original bass player for Downchild (a.k.a. The Downchild Blues Band).
