The USB keyboard only works with your hand under the case.
Your computer has a problem with the USB keyboard; it's simply frozen or malfunctioning, sometimes typing one thing and something else comes out, sometimes two keys at the same time. Without meaning to, you rest your hand on the computer case and notice that your keyboard works normally; with your hand on the case, the keys are okay, no problem with the keyboard.
