Our House Episode 1: Green House
A tour of one of the Greater Toronto Area’s greenest homes and a day in the life of its current occupant/owner. Meet Matt, the owner of a green home in Oakville. With walls made of straw bale and sealed with earthen plaster, it also has a large passive-solar element, a geothermal system, and plenty of reclaimed material. In one way, Matt’s unique home is an experiment in environmental friendliness. In another, it’s an example of an uber-modern living space, making it hard to believe this home is so green!
