Turn on "Swipe" or "None" on the Android Lock Screen
Hello friends! Welcome to a new tutorial. This time, we're going to see how we can reactivate the "swipe" or "no" screen lock options. As you can see on this device, they're grayed out and therefore disabled. So, I can only change the pattern, PIN, or password, but I can't leave the device without any type of security. But sometimes it's necessary, as it is for me right now. In the next tutorial, we'll see how we can remove this deactivation. Okay, let's get to the tutorial!
Okay! Well, the first thing we're going to do is go to the security panel, or rather, to the device's settings and the security panel... and we're going to enter our password. There you go! As we can see, this one is locked... these two options are locked. All we're going to do is go back to the security panel and look for the option that says "delete credentials." We're going to click here and click accept in the confirmation.
Good! Now we go back to what would be the screen lock, we re-enter the password, and, as you can see, the first two options are now activated, and now we can select "none" or "swipe." In my case, I'll select "swipe," and I'm going to exit to the main screen and turn off the device. Now, I'm going to log in again. And as you can see, it's no longer asking for a PIN, password, or unlock pattern.
