💰 How to Set Up In-App Purchases in Unity (IAP) - In-App Purchases for Android
We'll learn how to set up in-app purchases in Unity, also known as IAPs (In-App Purchases). This will allow us to expand our monetization options and earn money with our app or game.
To do this, we'll follow a series of steps, including:
1. Integrating the In-App Purchasing package into Unity and enabling in-app purchases (IAPs)
2. Setting up a Pricing template in our Google Play Console
3. Setting up the Unity IAP Catalog and configuring our product
4. Implementing the IAP Button and the different events that occur when a purchase is completed, fails, or the product is retrieved after initial purchase processing
5. Setting up our product in Google Play and linking it to the pricing template
We'll review step by step how to configure the Unity UI and what code you should include to do it as easily and quickly as possible. The possibilities with in-app purchases are enormous; I wish you the best of luck!
