Does "Click Between Frames" Actually Work?

Supposedly supposed to increase click accuracy and basically make the game easier by increasing the amount of clicks that can be registered within a single frame, the mod has taken the gd community by storm, some people finding the mod to be a skill boost while others not so much. The demonlist is yet to decide what to do with this situation rn.

After recording notes/ thoughts:
After playing for a little longer, I found it to be quite buggy however it improved the inconsistencies in framerate registration when playing laggy levels. It really assists in that specific field, laggy levels are no longer impossible to have accurate clicks in since the frame rate is not relative to the click registration if you get what I mean.
