We finish up a few things around Firelink Shrine (including using the tree jumping trick to grab the Covetous Silver Serpent Ring -- yes, I am slightly ashamed) before heading to the High Wall of Lothric.
We then get rid of the annoying dragon and grab the Deep Battle Axe on our way to the second bonfire.
