LIMOR TITOI
(Share Limor Titoi)
Limor Titoi is a great friend of mine,
well-known and well-known, as far as I can tell,
the most talked-about of all friends,
and I'm sure you say so too.
If you meet a long-forgotten friend,
you say, "Limor Titoi, were you quick?"
If a car bumps into you and speeds away,
it's obvious to shout, "Limor Titoi, chiaaanu!!"
And Limor Titoi is cheerful and happy,
in the sayings of everyone who mentions him and says,
says the sweet housewife, what a bitch,
ready to hit the buzzing fly,
if you hit a hollow on the indigo asphalt,
your first thought is, "Limor Titoi, mayor!"
or if you scratch and want to win,
but you look for three symbols and find two,
disappointed, you check and can do nothing
but say to fate, "Eh, Limor Titoi!"
You say it in the summer while you wipe your forehead with your fist
because of the faugno,
and in a thousand other cases we encounter,
it often happens that we quote it;
and this friend of mine is happy and content
to be the talk of the town throughout Salento,
from Surbo to Botrugno, from Veglie to Squinzano,
passing through Tuglie and Supersano,
from Muro Leccese to Gagliano,
Limor Titoi reigns, undisputed sovereign.
Only once was he disappointed
when they dared to change his outfit:
fox fur coat and designer glasses
the milf coming out of the hypermarket
doesn't see the step, scowls, and doesn't
boi
who, instead of an appropriate "Limor Titoi,"
slapping his butt and breaking his heel
exclaims only a banal "Perbacco."
It seemed out of place, and each of us,
faithful followers of Limor Titoi,
refused help to the beautiful MILF,
who was far too polite and easy-going.
It was in that moment that the miracle arrived,
and her heart reached far beyond the obstacle.
The MILF looked at the step, then at us,
and she let out a nice "Limor Titoi."
Suddenly the cold and chill melted,
the shouts of joy reached the sky,
and amidst the chastisements and raucous laughter,
in unison, we shouted "squajati!"
This is the end of those who still persist
in holding onto a slight chastisement,
which in Salento is obvious,
but rarely truly concerns the deceased.
It's more of a way of telling life
that we still play our game,
and when fate tells you you can't,
you have no other choice than "Limor Titoi."
Then there's a variant, I don't know if you're familiar with
the entire de Limor Tivosci family.
