1960s Nylint Jungle Wagon - [Restoration]
For this weeks restoration project we have a 1960s Nylint Econoline Jungle Wagon. I found this restoration project at a local flea market. This antique toy truck was full of rust, but overall wasn't in terrible shape. It was missing the rear animal cargo piece, which I was not able to find. I started first by trying to strip the paint with a paint stripping chemical, this was not immediately successful, so I then switched to sand blasting. Once the parts were sandblasted, I then primed, wet sanded and added a base coat. Following with two coats of clear. Overall this restoration project took me about a week and a half working in my spare time. Thanks for Watching.
