DESCRIPTION
tutorial on using the Circle command in AutoCAD:
Accessing the Command: You can access the Circle command in several ways:
Type "CIRCLE" in the command line and press Enter.
Click on the "Circle" icon in the Draw panel of the Home tab.
Enter "C" in the command line and press Enter, which is a shortcut for the Circle command.
Specify the Center Point: After activating the Circle command, AutoCAD will prompt you to specify the center point of the circle. You can do this by:
Clicking on the desired point in the drawing area.
Typing the coordinates of the center point and pressing Enter.
Specify the Radius or Diameter: Next, you need to specify the radius or diameter of the circle. You can do this in one of the following ways:
Typing the desired radius or diameter and pressing Enter.
Clicking at a point in the drawing to specify the radius/diameter interactively.
Creating a Circle by Diameter: If you choose to specify the diameter, AutoCAD will ask you to input the diameter length directly.
Creating a Circle by Radius: If you choose to specify the radius, AutoCAD will prompt you to input the radius length.
Creating Multiple Circles: You can create multiple circles using the same command by repeating steps 2-5 or by using the Copy or Array commands to duplicate circles.
Additional Options: AutoCAD provides additional options for modifying the circle, such as:
TTR (Tangent, Tangent, Radius): Creates a circle tangent to two objects and specifies its radius.
TTT (Tangent, Tangent, Tangent): Creates a circle tangent to three objects.
2P (Two Points): Creates a circle with a specified diameter by selecting two points on its circumference.
Finishing the Command: Once you have specified the center point and radius/diameter, press Enter or right-click and select "Enter" to complete the Circle command.
That's a basic overview of using the Circle command in AutoCAD. Feel free to explore further options and functionalities within the command for more advanced usage.
