How to Add / Remove Covid-19 Facebook Shortcut Bar
You can change and personalize these shortcuts, and also turn off notifications dots.
Personalize your shortcut bar
1 Open the Facebook app for iOS or Android.
2 Tap on your shortcut bar and select Settings & Privacy.
3 Tap Settings and select Shortcut Bar below Shortcuts.
4 Tap next to the shortcut to toggle it on or off.
Turn off shortcut notification dots
1 Open the Facebook app for iOS or Android.
2 Tap and hold on a shortcut on the shortcut bar.
3 Tap Turn off notification dots or Remove from shortcut bar to remove it.
You can also turn these off by navigating to Notification Dots, in your settings below Notifications.
