Adam Sikora has taken up in the foot steps of country blues harmonica legends like Sonny Terry, Johnny Woods or Billy Bizor. Together with Luis (Gigi) de Cicco he builds the Juke Joint Smokers. This Berlin based duo bring their passion for traditional playing to the stage. Polish harmonica player Adam Sikora is an outstanding harp player. His deep mastery of and passion for the harp and the music captivates his audience single-handedly. The result is a homage to the great pre-war harmonica players and something very unique that belongs to Adam Sikora.Luis (Gigi) de Cicco is an eclectic multi-instrumentalist from Benevento, Italy, who, like Adam, found a home in the thriving Berlin arts scene. Capo, acoustic guitar and fingerpicks in hand, Gigi has found his own blues groove. Together they play a raw and rusty hill-country blues which draws inspiration from the streets of Berlin. Adam and Gigi are accompanied by drummer Alessandro Guida.
