Disappointing Poco X4 Pro 5G Review
The POCO X4 Pro is a good phone, but it's not a great phone. I'll explain what hardware and features make it a good device (and what other POCO phone you might want to get instead) in this Poco X4 Pro 5G Review!
Disappointment. That's what I felt as I began testing out this device, but only because I was comparing it to the X3 Pro from last year (which is wrong anyway--it should a Poco X4 Pro vs Poco F3 comparison, due to the increased price). The Xiaomi Poco X4 Pro has a 5G capable processor this year, but it is considerably less powerful than the 4G processor from the X3 Pro. That's not to say the X3 Pro didn't have weak points last year (it did), and at least the Poco X4 Pro 5G fixes many of those problems this time around. A much better screen, speakers, and overall battery experience, means that there are plenty of people who would be satisfied with this device--and the decent performance from it's Snapdragon 695 processor. Just don't think that you will be gaming on the highest settings, recording 4K video, or have totally smooth everyday performance--and you will have enjoy the Xiaomi Poco X4 Pro 5G a lot more.
Of course, at this price point you could purchase a POCO F3, and I do think that is a better value. I compare the Poco X4 Pro vs Poco F3 at the end of the video, and unless you need the battery life, faster charging speed, and headphone jack--I still say go with the Xiaomi Poco F3. I've been using that device for more than half a year, and though it's not perfect, it performs much better than the Poco X4 Pro 5G.
