What lies beneath the meadows of Friuli? The enigma of the Tumuli
On this tour, we'll cross the Friulian plain in search of Bronze Age burial mounds, the majestic burial sites of our prehistory. Our journey begins in Tauriano di Spilimbergo and ends in Villalta di Fagagna.
We'll see the Marangoni di Sotto and Tosone mounds, then continue our exploration towards the Sant'Osvaldo and Selvis mounds, places where the silence of the Friulian countryside still seems to whisper the rituals of thousands of years ago.
The culmination of our itinerary takes us to Villalta di Fagagna, before the majestic Foscjan Mound. It is perhaps one of the most spectacular and best-preserved examples, a monument that dominates the landscape with ancestral power.
