Science Education & Outreach Careers
Science education and outreach allow scientists
to promote and expand interest in and a deeper
understanding of STEM disciplines. Education and
outreach activities can also encourage young
people to consider STEM careers. Careers in this
important field are found not only in educational
institutions at all levels, but also in museums,
scientific professional societies, funding institutions,
and international organizations that include a focus
on health and science.
