National Action Event 2015 - TERMINATOR
For the past few decades, technology is progressing in a speed greater than ever. Technological advancement has brought about life-saving medical techniques and discoveries. Simultaneously however, it has also resulted in a number of issues and controversies; such as embryonic stem cell use, cancer treatment, automated surgeries. Seeing how it is both friend and foe to medicine and future medical professionals, this lead to the theme TERMINATOR.
TERMINATOR stands for Technology and Resources of Modern Medicine in a Globalized Era. As an annual national event, it aims to create future doctors accustomed to critical discussions crucial to solve community health issues. This time, we are also focusing on the topic of Oncology, as it is an issue often worried by society owing to low treatment success rates.
This event will be held in Universitas Pelita Harapan, Karawaci, Tangerang on November 20th-22th 2015.
Key activities in the event consists of: welcoming and farewell parties, debate competitions, a social act in collaboration with AMSA-Indonesia, health campaigns, city tour and many more!
