Alarm calls for pythons, eagle, and people
Like many other animals, crested macaques produce vocalisations when seeing a potential predator. Here are some recordings of alam calls in response to a python, an eagle, and people. They were produced by different individuals. The alarm calls sound similar but detailed acoustic analyses would be necessary to say whether they differ according to the threat or not. We know that alarm calls in response to pythons attract other individuals which causes the python to hide or climb up trees.
