Testing Flowframes ( https://nmkd.itch.io/flowframes ) with Godzilla Singular Point (Netflix) which has some characters with choppy animation as part of its feel.
I picked this to see how it would handle the mix of choppy animation vs. smooth animation. For example in this shot, Godzilla is choppy, but the environment such as the red dust is smooth. I was expecting I would have to cut the framerate for the animation down to Godzilla's framerate in order to smooth out Godzilla. But I was surprised that was not the case. The "original" I recorded at 30fps, used Flowframes which output to 60fps. I then created the comparison shot you see on YouTube at 29.97 fps (not intentionally trying to change things I just had that set as default for output of my video editor).
