Quarantine Chronicles 17 - Skydive Midwest & Chicago by Katie Levick
USA is one mega place. Everything is bigger and better. I really loved exploring the sights and sounds with my girl Katie. She put this awesome edit together. We shredded the city's with Divvy bikes and had sundowners in the tallest buildings. Two Africans loose in the big city. These big cities are such crazy places to explore. We loved spending time on the great Lake in the MidWest.
The Skydiving clubs in USA are Top notch. Had an amazing time at Skydive Midwest. It has amazing World Class Training Facilities, Aeroplanes and staff. A family dz with a good vibes and young blood. All the skydivers at Midwest are Amazing. I learnt a lot and had way too much fun. The Pirate Twin Otter is just SO SICK to jump out of! With the beautiful views of Lake Michigan, an epic backdrop in the best playground in the world.
I had the chance to test out the Wingsuit Canopy the "Winx lpv135" sqf from Atair Canopies. I had perfect openings,every jump, all summer on the winx. This canopy has amazing control and stability and has the right amount of flare to land super soft. I only had 1 rig and swapping from swoop setup to Wingsuit setup took little under 10 min every time. I only had my small rig with me as I was ripping the Skydive Midwest swoop pond. You normally would need a 2nd rig to go wingsuit, but not with the Winx LPV. I would land, chop my 67vk and pop in the 135 lpv Winx and go for a Wingsuit rip with K2 and the boys.
This was a epic trip to America, Wisconsin and Illinois. Sick jumps with old friends and made loads of new friends. We this is all over, and the world returns back to somewhat normal, We absolutely can not wait to go back to America.
