Madame Web vs Morbius: Which Is Actually Worse?
Both Madame Web and Morbius have shown that Sony is struggling to get their non-MCU Spider-Man spin-offs working. Though some point to the characters Sony chose to base movies on as the problem, superhero movies based on lesser-known properties like Guardians of the Galaxy or Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings have been successful. The main problem seems to be the actual quality of Sony's Spider-Man Universe movies. Both Morbius and Madame Web have been critically panned, and not without reason.
