Since their stunning record debut in 1979, CASIOPEA has remained at the forefront of the fusion scene as one of Japan's leading super bands.
Their sound literally embodies their debut catchphrase, "Thrill, Speed, Super Technique." Noro Issei's exceptional compositional ability effortlessly combines accessible melodies with ultra-technical playing, establishing a completely new musical style never before imagined. They have released numerous hits, including "ASAYAKE" and "DOMINO LINE." The band has maintained its reputation despite undergoing changes in lineup, with its first period from 1977 to 1989, its second period from 1990 to 2006, and its third period restarting in 2012, the 35th anniversary of the band's formation, under the name CASIOPEA 3rd.
This year marks the 45th anniversary of CASIOPEA's formation and 10 years since the start of its third period, with drummer Akira Jinbo (special support) being replaced by Yoshiyori Imai, who has joined the band as a full member for the first time in 25 years, and the curtain rises on CASIOPEA's fourth chapter as CASIOPEA-P4.
