Handbag with clasp
In this video, I show you how I made a clasp bag. This small clasp bag can also be used as a wallet. The bag is 12 cm high and 15.5 cm wide.
The materials I used to make the bag:
clasp, 8.5 cm long, measured from hinge to hinge
thick fabric
lining fabric
interlining or interlining to help the bag hold its shape. If the fabric is thick and holds its shape well, you don't need to glue it
thread to match the fabric
0.2 mm transparent fishing line
needle
scissors
ruler
pencil
measuring tape
pins
double-sided checkered paper for making the pattern
chain for the handle
Materials for decorating the bag:
red and turquoise velvet fabric
white and green felt
thread to match
green thread for embroidering the blades of grass, black thread for embroidering the stripes on the mushrooms
green and black embroidery floss White
lace
white beads #10 and #6
red beads for berries
chain
double ring
pendant (mine is an owl)
