Visiting Pathfinder
Two best friends (guide dog, Pathfinder, and his puppy raiser/trainer, Sophia) reunite for a week of fun after 4 long years apart. ❤️🦮

📽️Video visual description: 🛬Video compilation begins with title and brief timelapse of large clouds through an airplane window until the plane lands at the desired destination. Pathfinder the black lab is waiting as the good boy he is, resisting jumping out as he full body wags when he recognizes Sophia walking up with her suitcase. Video then transitions to various moments ranging from Pathfinder’s glistening eyes staring straight at Sophia who is off screen but in front of him, to
playing with a red ring toy on the floor with a very happy Pathfinder, to proof of his still remembering how to walk side by side in any direction with Sophia like he did when he was 8weeks-18months (this time as he wears his guide dog harness). Videos include Sophia kissing him on the nose; Pathfinder calmly yet playfully walking underneath Sophia’s standing legs for him to get scratches and a large embrace from her; Pathfinder walking straight into Sophia’s hands or arms for head hugs; and him resting his full body weight and head against Sophia for massage of his face while he’s smiling and wagging his tail. As the song beat picks up, silly clips of silly hats such as a Disneyland ball cap; orange squid dog toy; flamingo hat; and finally the famous, old fashioned Disney Goofy hat) transitions from being on Pathfinder’s head to Sophia’s head like a magic trick. All the while it’s in sync with the music as they sit side by side facing the camera or looking directly to the side. Pathfinder’s eyebrows are expressive, he looks straight into the camera either happily or questioningly, and in one scene is wearing black sunglasses that slide off his muzzle. Afterwards, Pathfinder is smiling and wagging his tail as he walks up to sniff the camera. The red ring toy makes a reappearance as Sophia holds it in her mouth and Pathfinder seems to be simultaneously used to her shenanigans yet also questioning her sanity based on his moving eyebrows. It’s then his turn to have the toy at his paws as they are both laying down, and eventually he tosses the toy forward with his nose and a play session of fetch and keep away with the toy begins. In a large, open yard of grass or on blankets indoors on the ground, Pathfinder and Sophia run and roll around playfully, and a dog toy is fetched across the yard. The music fades with Pathfinder walking straight into Sophia’s open arms for a hug and full body scratch, and later both Sophia and Pathfinder walk off screen. The silent closing screen with a big blue Sky and green grass reads “Sincere thank you to his family. We are both blessed to have you.” 🛬
