ANTÌA MUIÑO - Visa For Music 2023
Let's reminisce about the mesmerizing performance by AntÍa Muiño at The Scene on November 24th. Antía Muíño, with only a few singles released, has become one of the revelations of the new Galician song scene. Her album oscillates between jazz-pop, alternative songwriting and a love of traditional Galician music.
Her proposal is a kind of medium between Norah Jones, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Tracy Chapman, Maria Arnal, Diana Krall and Luz Casal. In October 2022, she was awarded Best Emerging Artist at the Martín Códax da Música Galega awards, the most important in Galician music. She has just released "Carta Aberta", her first album, with which she will tour the country in 2023, and which already has over a million views on Spotify alone.
She has just been chosen as Spotify Spain's ambassador in its December EQUAL playlist, where she featured on the playlist and will be in rotation on the Times Square marquees; and in 2023 she will be touring throughout the year, having been selected as one of the AIE artists.
