So, guys, first thing to say here is that this video is not mine, I just downloaded it from BiliBili from someone named bili_351593495 (Credit to them). Second thing to say is that, well, I'm gonna give this thingy a context below.
This is a computer virus that was created in China back in 2005 back in the first few months of YouTube's existence. At first, when you try to run it, a window briefly opens and closes... seems like nothing happened, right? Wrong! Because right after it's ran ti deletes the original file from sight and then replicates it across some system directories, such as System32 and even assigns the file itself as a JPEG file viewer, tricking unsuspecting people into not only thinking that they might be unable to view JPEG files from now on, but also tricking them into opening the file itself.
Another payload is that right after you run it, this will also mean that you've accidentally put a time limit on your computer's normal feelings for 5 to 15 minutes, and this payload always occurred every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So, after the timer is up, a surprising occurrence happens which you can CLEARLY see on the thumbnail (no way, sherlock!) - a purple-tinted image of a ghost girl with half of her face a skull appears on the screen unexpectedly. There is an illusion in the image in which her right eye seems to be moving, and, during all of this, a somber crying sound effect is played throughout. Clicking anywhere on the screen exits the jumpscare.
Oh, and also, here is the Screamer Wiki page on this virus:
