Meet in Mitte with Professor Kolodko and Professor Döring
At our latest edition of our Meet in Mitte event series, the DOC welcomed former Deputy Prime Minister of Poland and Minister of Finance, Professor Kolodko of Kozminski University, to discuss China and the future of globalisation. It was an excellent opportunity to learn more about China's unique political economy, and to discover what lessons the West can learn from China's approach.
We were also joined by Professor Ole Döring, of Karlsruhe Institute for Technology, Institute for Future Technologies, and Co-Founder of the Institute for Global Health Berlin, as he shed light on the impact that global health, in the context of the current coronavirus outbreak, has on China’s role and meaning as a power of globalisation.
