Simple in-hull float switch ~ No screws!
I needed to add a float switch to my boat hull to activate the bilge pump autonomously.
This will work for kayaks too!
I cut a slice of 2"PVC about 2 1/2" wide
Heated it up to flatten it out.
Heated it again to put an "L" bend in it
Drilled a hole 1 1/2" up (sized to my float switch)
You can mount any float switch to the "L"!
I heated the bottom of my PVC "L" bracket and squeezed it in a vice to make hash marks only on the bottom.
I'm just going to silicone it to the hull beneath the floor of my boat.
Hash marks are so the silicone has something to grab onto.
You can just scratch it up with something sharp.
