We came across a charging issue with a genuine MacBook Pro charger, in the video we explained how to disassemble the MagSafe 2 Power Supply, finding the main problem, using a soldering iron to reconnect the cable and putting everything back together.
In the video we fixed a 60w MagSafe 2 Power Adapter Model A1435, but the instructions could fit the other models.
BEFORE YOU OPEN THE POWER BRICK = = Make sure that it is necessary , many times the laptop ac socket magnets have debris on it. and it can disturb the connection, clean it and try again. also try to play with the cables to check if there is any looseness.
If you find out that the problem is in the power magnetic head check out the other video that explains how to fix it: • Easy Repair for MacBook Pro MagSafe 2 Cable
In case of frequent charging it is possible that you also need to use this video because you have a problem with one of the two ends of the power train.
TO YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE: This is delicate work that requires steady hands and soldering knowledge, please do not attempt this fix if your not comfortable around these kind of tools.
*SAFETY FIRST*
If you opened the case and you see voltage from the power line connections and the computer would not charge, it is possible that you have a problem with the cable itself consider replacing the cable with new one.
Thanks you for watching!
